Holiday Greetings and Best Wishes!

Written by Jason Oakley | Dec 26, 2018 10:53:19 AM

The holiday season gives us cause to reflect on what has passed over the past year and what lies ahead, but most important, it’s a time to extend our sincerest thanks to our customers who continue to drive and inspire the entire NAV team. You are the reason for our success in this increasingly competitive marketplace, and it is our privilege and pleasure to assist you in any way possible with your enterprise security and surveillance needs.

Reflecting on 2018, it was another busy & fun year at NAV as we’ve continued to implement new and exciting state-of-the-art security and surveillance solutions across the country. Hopefully you’ve visited our dynamic new website, where we’ve recently posted a new video “flyover” of NAV gaming installations across the USA. We have continued to invest in the development & growth of our experienced team of security and surveillance professionals, while sustaining a high level of engagement with industry professionals at key industry events, including our very own 3rd Annual Surveillance Symposium held at our Las Vegas facility this past October. An educational, informative, and fun time was had by all. We are already planning next year’s symposium so please watch out for a save the date notification!

An on-going task at NAV is keeping up with all the new technologies and product introductions that our team employs to design and implement the best integrated system solutions for each and every customer. On that note, 2018 proved to be another banner year for the advancement of security and surveillance technologies driven by more powerful open source platforms, and the increased adaptation of trending standards like ONVIF, and new standards like SIA’s Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for access control. This allows our system designers and engineers to deliver even more comprehensive integrations employing myriad new products validated by our engineers. Perhaps more significant is that NAV continued to evaluate and affirm many new technologies and analytics that were previously not stable or reliable enough for mission critical gaming security and surveillance applications such as facial recognition, license plate recognition, people counting, and object detection.

Ending 2018 on a high note allows us to enter the new year with the hope for continued growth, increased engagement with our customers, and new benchmarks in systems integration that best ensure the safety and security of customers’ people, property and assets in 2019 and beyond.

If there’s anything I can ever assist you with, please feel free to reach out to me directly. I would love to hear from you.

All the best of health, happiness and success in 2019!

Sincerely,

Jason Oakley

President & CEO
